Maple Leaf Bookends Set, Philadelphia Manufacturing Company (PMC), Mid Century

Bring a quiet, mid century elegance to your shelves with this vintage Leaf Bookends Set, a beautiful pair of bookends shaped like detailed maple leaves that will quickly become favorite accessories for your home. This solid metal ware bookend set was hand cast by the Philadelphia Manufacturing Company (PMC) and still has a warm, golden luster that works beautifully with both modern and classic decor styles.

Each of these leaf bookends features crisp, dimensional veining that gives the leaves a lifelike quality, perfect if you love subtle botanical decor. The nature inspired design adds a calming touch to your reading nook, home office, or living room and makes these nature bookends an easy way to tie together plants, artwork, and books in one cohesive look, especially if you are a book lover.

These vintage leaf bookends measure approximately 6 5/8 inches high, a substantial size that works well for hardcover novels, an art book, and everyday reads. Use this pair of bookends on a shelf or as book ends office decor on your desk. They look just as good holding up your favorite titles as they do standing alone as sculptural desk decor.

The small stamped PMC99B mark on the back confirms their Philadelphia Manufacturing Company origin and adds to their charm as a collectible mid century accent. The craftsmanship and weight give them a sturdy feel that keeps your books neatly in place while adding visual interest to your space, especially at the ends of each row of books.

If you are searching for a thoughtful book lover gift, this vintage pair of bookends is a lovely choice. The refined maple leaf design makes it an especially meaningful gift for husband, partner, or friend who appreciates reading, nature, or classic design. It works well as a unique gift for him, and fits perfectly into that hard to shop for category of gifts for guys who already seem to have everything.

Only one vintage pair is available, so if these maple leaf bookends speak to you, you may want to add them to your cart before they are gone. They make a charming Valentine’s Day gift, an anniversary present, or a special treat for yourself if you want to update your home library with subtle botanical decor that reflects your love of nature.

Please remember that all items in our shop are vintage and may show gentle signs of previous love and use. These leaf bookends are sold as is and any patina only adds to their character and authenticity.
