Jeannette Depression Glass Square Plate, Green Vintage Tableware & Home Decor

Bring a touch of glowing vintage charm to your table with this Depression Glass Square Plate in classic Jeannette green. Made between 1932 and 1934, this square bread and butter plate is part of the beloved Adam pattern and offers a lovely mix of function and display-worthy style for your home decor.

Crafted from pressed uranium vaseline glass, this green plate has that signature soft green tone you expect from old uranium glass. Under UV light, it glows beautifully, making it a real conversation starter in any collection of green glassware. In natural light, the color looks fresh and bright, perfect for styling a retro kitchenware display or adding a pop of vintage interest to your everyday dining table.

The 6 inch square plate shape sets it apart from typical round pieces, giving your place settings a neat, graphic look. As a square bread plate or bread and butter plate, it sits nicely beside a dinner plate, ready to hold a slice of bread, a small dessert, or a favorite snack. You can also use it as a coaster for a mug, a base for a candle, a photo prop for product or recipe shots, or a pretty catchall by the sink or on a dresser.

This etched plate features the classic Adam pattern with delicate floral and scroll details pressed directly into the glass. The etched design, combined with the textured edges, catches the light and adds visual glow and depth. If you love the feel of true vintage craftsmanship, you will appreciate how the pressed glass pattern shows small variations that make each gla or glass collector item slightly unique.

As authentic depression glass from the 1930s, this square plate has lived a full life. You may notice light surface scratches and tiny signs of use consistent with its age. These subtle marks do not affect the structure of the plate and instead add to its story and character. You are getting a genuine period piece rather than a modern reproduction.

This uranium vaseline piece is ideal if you collect depression glass, pressed glass, uranium glass, or vaseline glass. It works beautifully alongside other green glassware or mixed with clear and pastel pieces for a layered vintage look. If you are building a set of retro kitchenware, this square bread plate offers both visual interest and practical use for your home.
